Additionally, the Congress leader expressed his grievances on stage, emphasizing that the Congress party allows freedom of speech. It is noteworthy that the excitement surrounding the Lok Sabha elections has escalated, with candidates commencing their visits. Bhupesh Baghel took part in the workers' conferences held in Khuteri and Rajnandgaon city, discussing preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. He mentioned attending block-level meetings of 6 assembly constituencies continuously, indicating that such meetings are ongoing. He stated, 'There are still some seats left in our state, which will be declared soon.
During the workers' conference in Khuteri, when Congress leader Surendra Dau questioned Bhupesh Baghel about the lack of respect for workers and their work in the last 5 years, the former Chief Minister responded, 'I have already addressed that. I stated that the Congress party provides a platform where everyone can freely express their opinions.'
Regarding the FIR lodged against him, he asserted, 'I will not seek anticipatory bail. First, issue me a notice, and I will respond after understanding the allegations.'
Baghel remarked that the FIR was filed without valid reasons, as his name was not specified in the details but was included in the list. Despite issuing a lookout circular nationwide and urging the Government of India to shut down Mahadev, the app continues to operate. Baghel questioned why it is still running and who is receiving protection money. He questioned whether people in Delhi or within the state are involved. Baghel alleged that rice millers are being pressured to pay Rs 30 per quintal, and industrialists are coerced into paying crores of rupees. He demanded action from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against such activities.
