Raipur, Chhattisgarh: The Chhattisgarh Police had issued advertisements for the recruitment of constables and other positions, for which the government sought applications. A total of 5967 vacancies are to be filled, including positions for constables, drivers, and tradesmen.
As per the advertisement, the last date for applications was March 6. Recruitment is announced for 5110 vacancies for constables (GD), 235 for drivers, and 623 for tradesmen.
Currently, the police department has received over seven lakh applications. This means there will be approximately 117 competitors for each position. In the previous recruitment exam, over 1.5 million applications were received.
This recruitment will take place at various police academies across all six regions, including Chandkhuri Police Academy, Railway Police, P.T.S. Mana, and Rajnandgaon Camp. Candidates will undergo a process involving written exams, physical tests, and interviews.
