In a video conference held on Wednesday, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai emphasized to district collectors the importance of promptly delivering government schemes to the general public without any delays. Officials provided this information on Wednesday.

During the conference, Sai stated that the image of security camps set up to control Maoist terrorism in Bastar should be perceived as facilitation camps by the people. He instructed police superintendents to instill fear of the law among criminals and ensure that ordinary citizens are free from all kinds of fear. Sai, addressing the officers, made it clear that our Prime Minister considers himself not as a Prime Minister but as a public servant. We are all public servants, and our goal is public service. From district collectors to patwaris and from SPs to constables, we all must be dedicated to serving the people.

No Inconvenience to the Public:

Sai mentioned that several complaints have been received in the revenue department. Complaints about delays in distribution by patwaris and ARIs at the village level and delays in the work of transfer have been received. The old practice of delaying work should be changed immediately. All district collectors should ensure that no complaints related to the revenue department are received. The general public should not face any inconvenience.

Zero Tolerance for Corruption:

Sai stated that the government's image is built on the work of district collectors and SPs. The district administration should ensure that farmers do not have to visit offices unnecessarily. He said that the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) had faced significant corruption in the previous government. The amount from the DMF is used for the development of the affected areas due to mining. This amount should be spent on providing resources for health, education, drinking water, roads, and livelihoods. Rules for the use of DMF funds have been set by the Indian government. Therefore, this amount should be spent strictly according to the rules. Along with this, he emphasized that officers should be made aware of their responsibilities.

Creating an Environment Free from Fear:

Sai emphasized the need to create an environment where citizens can live without fear and ease. The crackdown on crimes related to women should be thorough. Officials informed that Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, DGP Ashok Juneja, Secretary of the Chief Minister's Office Rahul Bhagat, and other officials were present at the Collector-SP conference.
